Artist Bio

Eni Austin was born in 1989 in Tirana, Albania and maintains an ongoing connection to the Balkans. She spent her formative years growing up in an international setting due to her parents’ work, living in Tunis, Tunisia, and Frankfurt, Germany. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2012, and a Master’s Degree in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University in 2021. She began her studies in fine art at the Washington Studio School in 2017 and formally enrolled in the WSS Master Certificate Program in 2023. She has exhibited her work in multiple student exhibitions at WSS.

Her work engages with the body as both a physical structure and site of internal awareness, influencing her approach to gesture, containment, and spatial framing.
